Jbal Al Sawan, performed for charity 

Within the artistic activities and the charity campaigns hosted by Al Mawakeb School in Dubai, Counselor Mr. Ibrahim BouMelha, director of “Mohammad Bin Rashid Foundation for charitable and humanitarian works”, received a check of 500,000 DHS in revenue for the theatrical drama performed by the students of Al Mawakeb School. The check was presented by Mr. Adonis Nasr, CEO  of AMSI,  in the presence of Mr. Saad Al Zain, representative of the “Trillion Campaign” to rebuild Lebanon.

The drama was performed under the patronage of her Royal Highness Princess Haya Bint Al Hussain, the wife of His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice president of the country, prime minister and Dubai Ruler, on Friday and Saturday 18 – 19/05/2007 in Sheikh Rashid Hall in Dubai Trade Center. The play is an epic work from the magnificent works of Al Rahbani Brothers. The audience was enormous ranging not only from the students, their parents and their teachers but also a lot of interested audience in such works. The students/actors fascinated the audience with their outstanding and supreme performance. As a result, the audience interacted with the performance and applauded the students several times during the play. This play and the accompanying charity activities is not the last in a series of events organized by the school.
